  • COVID-19 Rules | Tempest Salon
    Due to the 2019-2020 outbreak of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), Tempest Salon is taking extra precautions with the care of every client to include a health screening and enhanced sanitation and disinfection procedures in accordance with the California Department of Business and Professional Regulation guidance. Symptoms of Covid-19 may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. Common symptoms may be: - Cough - Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing - Fever - Chills - Repeated shaking with chills - Muscle pain - Headache - Sore throat - loss of taste or smell By making an appointment and visiting our salon, you agree that you have read and agree to the following,a nd will be asked to sign: 1. I understand the above symptoms and affirm that I, as well as all household members, do not currently have, nor have experienced the symptoms listed above WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAYS. 2. I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not been diagnosed with COVID-19 WITHIN THE PAST 30 DAYS. 3. I affirm that I, as well as all household members have been wearing masks outside of the home and taking proper precautions to avoid contamination. 4. I affirm that I, as well as all household members, have not traveled outside of the country, or to any city considered to be a "hot spot" for COVID-19 infections WITHIN THE PAST 15 DAYS. 5. I understand that If I, as well as all household members, are experiencing or have experienced any of the symptoms listed above WITHIN THE LAST 15 DAYS OF THE CONFIRMED APPOINTMENT DATE , I must contact my service provider directly to reschedule the appointment at least 30 DAYS from the current appointment date. 6. I understand that Tempest Salon cannot be held liable for any exposure to the COVID-19 virus caused by misinformation on this form or the health history provided by each client.
  • What products can I shop for?
    You can purchase products made by Organic Way and Original Mineral, using my client code: HHT1033, through Holistic Hair Tribe. You can sign up for automatic refills by mail or stop by the salon (The Tempest, 4th street San Rafael) to refill shampoo and conditioner.

    Most appointments require calling to confirm services and help us schedule you. Simple cuts can be booked online through
  • What is the cancellation policy?
    We always strive to reschedule appointments when something comes up; however, if your appointment is canceled or needs rescheduling within 36 hours of your scheduled date/time, I reserve the right to charge a 50% fee, unless I can fill the appointment last minute. See the full policy here:
